3rd Transnational Project Meeting Successfully Concluded in Bremen
7–8 July 2026 — Gedonsoft GmbH, Bremen, Germany
We are thrilled to share the successful conclusion of the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting (TNM III) for our Erasmus+ Project, "Developing Competencies of Special Needs Care Providers on Scientific Evidence-Based Practices with Technology-Supported Tools" (Project No: 2025-1-TR01-KA220-HED000349859). Hosted at the Gedonsoft Company in Bremen, Germany, on July 7–8, 2026, the meeting brought together our full international consortium to review crucial project milestones and look toward the future of technology-supported special education.
Key Highlights from the Meeting
- Opening & Leadership: The event commenced with inspiring welcome speeches by our Project Coordinator, Prof. Feyzullah Şahin (Düzce University), and host expert Hans Riepe (Gedonsoft GmbH).
- Full Consortium Collaboration: Fruitful discussions and breakout sessions were held with the active participation of all partner institutions, including Sakarya University (Turkey) and Masaryk University (Czech Republic), ensuring a rich exchange of academic and technical expertise.
- Cutting-Edge Tech Integration: Partners actively reviewed and tested the newly developed Virtual Reality (VR) resources, evaluating how immersive technology can best train caregivers in evidence-based practices.
- Implementation Planning: Deep-dive sessions were dedicated to organizing the upcoming field implementation stages (targeting crucial 40-hour and 80-hour benchmarks) and standardizing assessment tools.
- Future Innovations: Beyond current tasks, the consortium discussed administrative and budget management, sustainability models, future publication strategies, and brainstorming new project ideas under the Horizon Europe framework.
A massive thank you to Düzce University, Gedonsoft, Sakarya University, and Masaryk University for their collaborative spirit, and to Gedonsoft for their outstanding hospitality! Together, we are bridging the gap between scientific evidence-based practices and accessible, technology-driven care training.

- Distribution of responsibilities for course books and activity books across partners.
- VR-based project result development will continue, with examples prepared by Gedonsoft GmbH.
- Dissemination Plan and Quality Assurance Plan to be completed by the end of November.

CCforSEN Project Successfully Launched with Kick-Off Meeting at Düzce University
