Objectives
This project aims to improve the professional
competencies of special needs care providers
(care workers, CW) in evidence-based practices
and the use of VR resources. The implementation
seeks to enhance SEN pupils' academic,
language-communication, and socio-emotional
skills.
Implementation
- Prepare educational materials, assessment tools and a trainer guide
- Design immersive VR scenarios for real-world practice
- Combine theoretical training with on-site practice
- Test effectiveness with care workers and impact with SEN pupils
Expected Results
- A multicultural training module with educational materials, assessment tools and VR resources
- Stronger professional competencies among care workers
- Positive effects on SEN pupils' learning and socio-emotional development
- Open-access materials for universities, social service institutions and training providers
